Job Description

The Senior Analytics Manager will play a key role in designing, developing, and validating digital measurement. This role will drive long-term value to the client by implementing customised analytics solutions that support business success.

You will be responsible for leading the client’s measurement strategy as well as the day-to-day management of assigned client accounts, focusing on successful data implementation, insights, and optimization of their marketing channels, journeys, and web properties.


Your primary responsibilities include:

  • Be a passionate subject matter expert in digital measurement and the opportunities an effective measurement strategy can bring. Be proficient in web analytics (inc. web & app tracking, insights & reporting, audience strategy, and incremental revenue opportunities), and possess a strong understanding of the media ecosystem, particularly GMP
  • Drive performance of analytics capabilities to impact overall business results
  • Define a measurement framework by identifying relevant data sources and KPIs aligned to business goals to illustrate campaign effectiveness
  • Evaluate customer journeys and data signals across the customer lifecycle that will inform audience targeting and media flighting
  • Define and manage audiences that can be shared across Jellyfish partner and client ecosystems (e.g. Google, Facebook, LiveRamp, Salesforce, Segment)
  • Identify opportunities to solve recurring client challenges and innovate the product portfolio
  • Provide support and mentorship for other members of the team, ensuring they are progressively able to take on more complex tasks and upskill others.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager, both web and app, is required.
  • Must have a fluent understanding of the Google Marketing Platform, key benefits, and how to leverage the Google stack to the greatest advantage of clients
  • Hands-on experience working with analytics solutions, including measurement implementation, data analysis & insights, in-housing, presenting to large audiences, and training
  • Strong analytical and visual thinking skills, with the ability to identify business questions, pain points, and opportunities, analyse quantitative and qualitative data, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to clearly communicate processes, strategies, and general requirements to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to manage projects and delegate seamlessly across multiple teams and regions, to ensure that all deliverables meet Jellyfish standards within set deadlines
  • Able to stay positive under pressure, work with a diverse set of stakeholders, and live Jellyfish’s values: be positive, be the solution, be passionate, be accountable, be you


Advantageous

  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform and BigQuery, ability to query large databases and write SQL queries
  • Proficiency with Python/R or other scripting languages is desirable
  • Experience with (and positive results from) running campaigns on a variety of web and app experience optimization/personalization platforms would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge and experience with recent Google technologies and tools such as Google Analytics 4 (App and Web streams) and Google Ads Data Hub
  • Knowledge and experience with Machine Learning principles and Marketing Theory
  • Experience with platforms such as Adobe Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Segment, Tableau, and Looker
